Meet the Founder
I’m Katina Shoni Freeman, the founder of UnCovered Publishing and the author of UnCovered: A Meeting at the Well with Goel.
What began as a prayerful search for how to help women heal from shame and brokenness has grown into a publishing house with a mission: to give God’s people a voice and to push them to prosper productively in their purpose.
When God gave me the vision for UnCovered, I had no idea it would become more than just a devotional. I thought I was creating a gift for retreat attendees—something meaningful and lasting. But God had greater plans. What started as one book has grown into a coaching program, a community, and now a publishing company dedicated to helping others uncover their true identity and share their God-given stories with the world.
At UnCovered Publishing, our mission is simple: to make publishing affordable, purposeful, and transformational. We don’t just publish books—we walk with authors through marketing, coaching, and equipping, so their message doesn’t just reach shelves, but reaches hearts.
This journey begins with me, but it doesn’t end with me. God has called each author here for such a time as this. And together, we’re declaring that shame no longer has the final say—redemption does.
